01 / WHO WE ARE

This Privacy Policy explains how Airmarkt Ltd ("Airmarkt", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use airmarkt.app and its related services, including our marketplace shop, Reels (short video content), and Tweets (short-form text posts) (together, the "Platform").

Airmarkt Ltd is the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our registered address is 9 Riverdale Gardens, Twickenham TW1 2BX. You can contact us about privacy matters at sara@airmarkt.com.

02 / WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

Account and business data

  • Name, email address, phone number
  • Business name, address, and registration details (for Brands and Buyers)
  • Login credentials

Marketplace/shop data

  • Product listings, pricing, and stock information (Brands)
  • Order history, delivery addresses, and transaction records (Buyers)
  • Payment confirmation data passed to/from our payment processor, Mollie (we do not store full card details)

Reels data

  • Video content you upload, including any audio, images, or metadata attached to it
  • Views, likes, comments, and shares on Reels
  • Device/camera permissions data if you record directly through the Platform

Tweets data

  • Text posts, replies, likes, and shares
  • Any content, links, or images included in a Tweet

Usage and technical data

  • IP address, browser type, device information
  • Pages visited, time spent, and general interaction data (via cookies/analytics)

04 / PUBLIC CONTENT

Reels and Tweets you post are, by default, visible to other users of the Platform (and, depending on your account's privacy settings, potentially the public internet). Do not post anything in a Reel or Tweet that you don't want to be publicly visible. We are not responsible for content that other users choose to screenshot, share, or repost outside the Platform.

05 / WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH

We share personal data with the following categories of third party, under data processing agreements where required:

  • Mollie — to process marketplace payments
  • SendGrid — to send account and marketing emails
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the Platform
  • Analytics providers — to understand Platform usage

We do not sell personal data to third parties. We may disclose data where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or to prevent fraud or harm.

06 / INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Where any of the providers listed above are based outside the UK/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) before transferring personal data to them.

07 / DATA RETENTION

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. Reels and Tweets remain visible until you delete them or close your account, after which they are removed within 30 days, save for backups retained for a limited period.

08 / YOUR RIGHTS

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time
  • Data portability, where applicable
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we have mishandled your data

09 / COOKIES

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings or our cookie banner. Disabling some cookies may affect Platform functionality.

10 / CHILDREN

The Platform is intended for business users (Brands and Buyers) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

11 / SECURITY

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12 / CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a notice on the Platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
